Railway In The Sea

Mainly for Atticus. Last night I told him of yet another story idea, the "Railway in the Sea". About a young orphanned boy living in a gigantic, industrial port-town, who witnesses the end of the railways there due to the companies going under/the industries slowing down. He befriends an aged man, who eventually takes him out of the harbor for the first time and out to sea, to the rockshelves, where there is a railway which tows ships up and down the channel which leads to the harbor.
The story mainly revolves around the sole locomotive of the railway, the monstrous 6-foot gauge 4-6-2, who is built for oceangoing and is certainly like no pacific you have ever seen. In-line 4-cylinder cross-compound, 400PSI boiler, 490 tons, and 6500 Horsepower.
Now dont be fooled, the story isnt as happy and railway-ish as you think it is.

The 4-6-2 is of my own design, one of those really truly "Karnsian" engines I think. What you see here is the first drawing of her, no doubt I will work on her more. I wanted her to be big, stocky, burly and loaded with appliances and parts (specifically large-diameter tanks and pipes to give an image of power), however I also wanted her to be very compact.
